Built from Skratch is one of Singapore’s leading Hip-Hop/R&B artiste management which aims to protect and also promote local Hip-Hop artistes’ interest and talent, to a wider range of audience for appreciation.  We also aim to nurture artiste into successful individuals and respectful professionals.

Below are some of the Hip-Hop artistes that we will feature exclusively for our school shows and other events (non-exclusive/ad-hoc):

Zul Mystroe:

Zul Mystroe is a 3 time Beat-Boxing National Champion who has opened for established acts such as Akon, Kanye West & Black Eye Peas.

Starting out beat-boxing as hobby, he has established himself as a crowd favorite and common feature in local Hip-Hop gigs. He is currently working on his own album composed entirely with just beat-boxing.

Zul is currently waiting to start his Diploma in Sound Audio Engineering this coming July 2010 and running his indie label, Mystroe Music.  Zul Mystroe is exclusively contracted for Built from Skratch school shows and other events (non-exclusive/ad-hoc)

M.G:

Mohammad Feroz Han, better known on the stage as Mazta G or MG, first rose to fame was with his indie single “Homie Love” on myspace. Realizing that just beinga recording artiste is not enough, MG joined the National Rap Battle Competition organized by 98.7 FM and placed a respectable 5^th place finishing.

Drawing inspirations from artiste like Tupac Amaru Shakur and bearing a strong resemblance of rhyming & looks of Hip-Hop Rapper, The Game, he recorded “Grew up to be a Screw-up” a Hip-Hop West-Coast influenced anthem over 808 drum beats on the anguish and struggles of life.

A young & determine artiste, who is currently pursuing Multimedia in ITE, he inspires to be excel in a career in Digital Design & Technology using his talent as a platform for his future. MG is contracted for Built from Skratch school shows & events (non-exclusive/ad-hoc).

Zahir Latif:

Zahir Latif is the popular singer & frontman of Tacit Aria, a local indie rock band.  But prior to being a rocker, Zahir started out in Brunei as one of the few established rap groups there know as B-Styles.  Currently, he is back in Singapore working on his music as well as studying in Mass Communications. Check his laidback soulful singing & rhyming as he performs solo in our shows.

Mad A & Hakim:

Mad A & Hakim are an up & coming duo from local rap collective known as Street Bloodz.  Both are students currently in ITE & Republic Poly respectively, who aims to use their music as a source of passion & hobby while at the same time a platform to move on in their life.
