Ed Borhan Ltd x Built from Skratch: Digital Citizenship & Cyber Wellness @ Woodgrove Sec School

    ed1

I was part of Ed Borhan Pte Ltd’s crew in the Digital Citizenship & Cyber Wellness talk in Woodgrove Sec to Malay Muslim students and their parent to improve their knowledge of using the internet & blogging as a healthy tool to enrich and improve their lives.

I did a 5min cameo towards the end, where I spoke to parents about how I went from just being a Turntablist/Skratch DJ/Hip-Hop Music Junkie, on how I move on to being a curator through reading up relevant materials online to expand my business knowledge through the Internet.

The response was kinda positive so we might be going back for the 3rd Term in their calendar to conduct our programmes & classes.

One of my friends and corporate sponsor, Nur Shaheed Borhan dubbed “The Corporate Begger” went on a street marketing campaign, which requires guts to, to drum up publicity and hype for his business.

Please support and read more of him at this link as well as join his facebook group.

This campaign, which started in 2006, allowed Shaheed to go from a free-lance I.T consultant to become one of few up-and-coming muslim businessmen recognize by the Malay Chambers in 2006. All these was able to materialize because he believe that he can built his business from Skratch.

Real Talk: Investment Schemes from a Unqualified Wedding Singer – Reality vs Greed

It has came to my knowledge through my blog-hopping that a little known wedding singer with a small group of fans is trying to seek investors and trying to recruit his own fans to invest in his financial scheme.

I do not know about you but would I put my hard-earn money in the hands of a wedding singer with no experience in investment as well as zero qualification in business finance? I doubt so, given that he is unqualified to do so. I think some nobody in society overestimated her singing capabilities.

Don’t believe the hype. Given that currently we are trying to tide through a recession besides the fact there is countless investment & savings schemes from credible insurance agents such as NTUC Income, Prudential & AIA to choose from, why would you choose to put you money in a little known wedding singer?

I hope you give some thought to what I say young ones.
