I think this recession kinda wipe a clean slate for a lot of the cultures & genres in society as we speak. People are being more conscious on how they spend their money with the exception of food.
Being a DJ, I must admit, I didn’t buy anything vinyls for years. Who would want to pay $US2000/- for franchise rights to hold this supposed exclusive DJ battle & “platform for Turntablism” when that money can generate into a greater use. Nobody gives a crap. Besides that people grown really un-interested with all the these glitz & glam which magazines are pushing. Reality bites because people are experiencing the financial pinch thus that limited edition exclusive kicks from Supra suddenly don’t seem appealing despite being noted as 1-100 in the world.
